About the Sure Start Children's Centre

Welcome to the Sure Start Community Children's Centre in Horley

The Horley Community Sure Start Children’s Centre is designed to offer a variety of services for young children and their families including parents, carers and the wider community.

The centre will work in partnership with schools within the Horley Learning Partnership and other professionals, particularly the Health Service. It is committed to improving outcomes for all young children.

The HUB of the Children’s Centre is based at The Bungalow in the grounds of Meath Green Infant School, together with the Horley Learning Partnership Learning Centre. In addition, our Outreach area covers sites throughout Horley, Burstow, Salfords, South Nutfield and Outwood. These will be developed to cater for the needs identified.

The Horley Community Sure Start Children’s Centre is a graduated model Children’s Centre which means we do not provide childcare on site – Our designated pre-school provider is the Horley Community Pre-School at Strawson Hall. We also signpost parents and carers to other facilities in the area.

The Children’s Centre is open as a Drop-In for information and offers Stay and Play sessions and other activities as listed on our website.
